Book Review 1: Michael Vey The Prisoner Of Cell 25

Michael Vey: The Prisoner Of Cell 25 is an exiting story by Richard Paul Evans. The main character, Michael Vey, had special powers. Later he learned other people also had special powers. Hatch was the main bad guy who wants to control the world by using the kids' powers. Hatch kidnapped Michael's mom and his girlfriend Taylor because he wanted to get Michael to join him take over the world. Michael went to rescue  Taylor and his mom. Things didn't go as planned. Instead he and his friends got locked  up. Then Michael and his friends worked together to escape the Elgen Academy, which is where they were being held.

The themes I chose are hope and loyalty. Loyalty because Michael and his friends were always loyal to each other. For example Michael let ALL of his friends out, including the ones he just met because he is loyal. The first example of hope is in chapter 27 when Micheal and his friends go to rescue his mom and Taylor even though they weren't  sure where they were. The second example is in chapter 42 when Taylor and Michael's other friends tried to escape even though they really didn't know what they were doing. The final example is in chapter 47 when they were escaping with Michael and succeeded even though it was almost impossible.

I would definitely recommend this book to others. There is so much action and adventure. If you like superhero type stuff you'll like this book. Also there is a lot of pain put on the characters. This concludes my recommendation.

If you liked this book you night enjoy the second and third books. I've already read them. the author is supposed to make seven books in the series, I can't wait until the next one comes out. So if you liked this one try out the second, Michael Vey: Rise Of The Elgen.
